What a great way to finish off your season by playing such a dominate tournament. I wish it could not have ended because you guys were all playing at the top of your game. Enjoy these highlights of our last game. Stats are updated. I'll be working on the highlight video for the banquet. I'll see you all there! Happy Thanksgiving.

What a great way to start off the tournament with a dominating performance against Southern Utah's best team. I've updated the stats for all games. Desert Hills game to come soon.

West League Championships: Kearns 42, Cyprus 6

Congratulations to everyone on this team, including the parents and fans that supported us through this season. We're so proud of all you've accomplished. You're a special group of boys. We hope you learned more about football this year, but we also hope you learned more about what it takes to be a good person and to respect others. During the off-season we challenge you all to strive to do good in school and while there be good examples and represent yourself, your families, and Kearns football well.

We're not quite done because we have our tournament at Mesquite, but I hope you all have a lot of fun down there and represent KEARNS FOOTBALL well. We coaches love each and every one of you guys so much. Great job on a great season.

Championship location and time

Our championship game will be played at West Jordan High School vs Cyprus. The address for West Jordan is: 8136 South 2700 West. Enter through the South Gate. Cost for championships are the same as last week: $3 for 12 and older, $2 for 5-11, 4 and under are free. We're playing on field 1 at 9am. Players must be there at 7:45am for team check in.

Great win over a great team in terrible conditions. Let's hope for better weather next week in our championship game vs. Cyprus. Stats are updated.

Practice schedule this week

Practice will run from 4:30-6:30. We have a lot to work on this week, so come prepared to get started immediately. We need to play better this week against Copper Hills than we did last time.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are our practice dates. Our playoff game will be at Cyprus vs Copper Hills. Cyprus' parking is really bad, so get there as early as possible.

What a great way to close out the last game of the regular season with our highest points scored and a shut out! So proud of the TEAM FAMILY attitude of you guys fighting hard for each other.

We will be playing Copper Hills in the first round of the playoffs and as you remember they played us REALLY tough even though we won the game. We have a lot of things to do to prepare for them because they will do everything they can to prepare for us. Let's step up our game for the playoffs and show everyone what we're really about.

Great win boys. We moved the ball well on offense and defensively we played great except for one mistake on our pass coverage. We'll continue to work at getting better. Let's prepare for Taylorsville this week as if the season depended on this game.

Great job on getting the shut out boys. As always, there are still a lot of things we need to work on, so come out to practice ready to work hard to beat Hunter. Hunter is a good team and will be really geared up to beat us. On offense we need to focus on better team blocking and sustaining drives and moving the ball to get our 3 yards. On defense we need to focus on better sound tackling and better coverage on the pass.

Great win despite some challenges we had to overcome. Us coaches are proud of you for playing even better as the game wore on.

Practice time change reminder!!

Reminder that practices will go from 5:30pm to 7:30pm from now on. There is also a parents meeting after monday night's practice to discuss post-season tournaments.

It was a hard-fought game. There were things we likely could have done to win this game, but at least we know we can play with the best team in the state (and they know it too). Us coaches are proud of you boys for hanging in there until then end.
